Guisborough’s neighbourhood officers are reassuring local retailers and shoppers that police will continue to support them and work with them to take action against anyone suspected of committing shoplifting offences.
This comes as a 47-year-old man from the town appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 28th March, charged with 10 shop theft offences (8 in Guisborough and 2 in Middlesbrough) in which items with a combined total value of around £1,700 were reportedly stolen from various retailers 🛒 🛍️
The man had been arrested by neighbourhood officers on Friday and he was further remanded after court, until his next appearance.
